Nyaba L. Ouadreogo

Born in 1978 in Burkina Faso, Nyaba L. Ouedraogo is passionate about
photography and the Elsewhere. He travels the world with an
insatiable curiosity, always renewed.
He began his career with a series of photographs of urban
landscapes in France, Italy, Turkey and Morocco where the human
being is at the center of the complexity of the contemporary era,
with particular attention to the phenomena of marginality and
exclusion.

He has been working since 2003 on living and working conditions in
Africa. His approach is as much from photo-reporting as from
documentary; it consists in « not showing images for what they say,
but for what they translate ».

Nyaba Ouedraogo collaborates with Jeune Afrique Magazine. He is
co-founder of the collective « Topics Visual Arts Platform » with
photographers David Damoison, David Gumbs, Jean-François Manicom,
and Sara Maneiro. “The Topics Platform is our laboratory and our
online gallery.  »
